Maya Kendrick is outside doing laundry when she is surprised by her neighbor, Charlotte Stokely, who offers her some cupcakes. Maya says she doesn’t like sweets, but Charlotte says she knows that Maya is all alone, so surely Maya can take a moment to savor the blissful taste of sugar. Charlotte uses her finger to take some icing off one of the cupcakes, and smears the icing across Maya’s lips. Maya still isn’t sure about wanting sugar, so Charlotte uses her fingers to take the icing off of Maya’s lips, and then licks her fingers. She then kisses Maya, giving Maya a different kind of sweetness…
